Original Items: Only one available. This is an nice original M1938 Beaded Luftschutz Gladiator German Medic helmet. The exterior of this German helmet retains about 95% of the original dark blue paint. The helmet retains the original split pin rivets. In pl;ace of the normal Luftschutz decal is fantastic original medic's red cross inside a white circle, the insignia paint is retained at 95%.
The inner skirt is maker marked RL2 38/28. In addition there is a paint stamp that reads:
Fabric liner is complete and in very good condition with an ink size stamp of 55cm. The leather chinstrap is complete and in good condition.
Genuine German medic helmets from WWII are incredibly hard to locate on the market today. This is one of very few examples we have seen on a Luftschutz helmet. Overall a very nice complete German WWII M38 Luftschutz Medic's helmet.
